We believe good sheep farming thrives on good knowledge — and we’re proud to offer training that’s hands-on, relevant, and rooted in real-life flock work.
Whether it’s a lambing course for new shepherds, a refresher on doing your own faecal egg counts, or a practical session on carrying out basic on-farm post-mortems, our training is designed to give farmers the confidence to handle more themselves, and to spot when something’s not quite right.
We also offer tailored training for vet students, new and experienced farm vets, and vet nurses — particularly those looking to strengthen their skills in flock health, practical sheep work, and working in upland systems. From fieldwork to flock planning, we’re always keen to share what we’ve learned along the way.
Workshops can be one-to-one, group-based, or delivered in partnership with other organisations. And we’re always happy to adapt the content to suit your setup, your stock, and your goals.
If there’s something you or your team would like to learn — just ask.
Whether you’re after a course, a workshop or just a chat about what training might suit you or your team — we’d love to hear from you.
